Welcome to
Clusters meet Regions and Matchmaking event “European Clusters integrating Ukrainian Clusters and Companies into the EU value chains” 29-30th of March 2023 - Kosice (Slovakia) and online
March, 29-30
The event will bring together over 200 representatives of EU and Ukrainian clusters and companies, as well as national and regional public authorities and business support organisations from Slovakia and other EU regions, researchers, civil society members, financial intermediaries, innovation agencies, industrial associations, investors, and other related actors.
This event will be an opportunity to build EU-Ukraine business relations, and to find partners to trade and invest with.
This event aims at improving diversification of markets and suppliers for EU and Ukrainian companies and reshape the industrial value chains. In the past weeks, bilateral exchanges between Ukrainian and EU clusters have shown business opportunities for both sides, e.g., in the agri-food, construction, advanced manufacturing, automotive, textile, health, energy, Defence, raw material, social economy sectors. Clusters are integrators and facilitators of this collaboration. The event should provide a basis to establish resilient cross-border networks created to promote the exchange of information and resources between different stakeholders involved in the clusters. It will also promote cross-border recognition that helps to foster a spirit of collaboration and understanding between stakeholders.
Who can participate?
The Matchmaking event will bring together cluster organisations, business network organisations, companies, scaling-up support organisations, and investors from the EU (and non-EU COSME/SMP), countries of the European Economic Area (EEA) and countries of the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) - with the exception of Belarus that is not eligible to participate.
A hybrid matchmaking event will be organised in the frame of the Clusters meet Regions workshop, which will also be webstreamed. More information can be found on the Clusters Meet Regions event page.
